Hit the road with this opportunity! A Papatoetoe based company is currently seeking 5 reliable Class 4 Truck Drivers to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Duties include inspecting the truck before, during and after trips, ensuring the 6-wheeler tipper truck is clean and pre-checking unexpected weather and road conditions prior to departures, transporting asphalt, soil and clay to civil construction sites, state highways and off roads all over the North Island, ensuring the logbook and load documentation required to move the freight is up to date and available for inspection whilst following road rules, company regulations and health and safety procedures. A flexible schedule is a must as you will be working outside of Auckland during day or night shifts. The hours of work are varied; day shift could be between 6am - 6pm and night shift 6pm - 6am.

Remuneration Details:
$30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Drivers License: Required: Yes
Minimum Requirement: Must have held full Class 4 or equivalent license for 3 months. Experience not necessary as full training will be provided to successful applicant.
Pre-Requisites:
Candidates must be physically fit, able to drive a manual transmission and have knowledge of the road code. A reliable transport is essential as you will be required to return the truck back to the Papatoetoe depot at the end of your shift. You must be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests and minor convictions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. There is no vaccination requirement.
